Terms and phrases used by Pandemonium
A guide for the uninformed. Proceed with caution!

- filled
- to be completely satisfied. Ex: "That guy's girlfriend is hot! He's filled!"
- frickin' beat
- exhausted, tired. Ex: "Man, that was a great show. I'm frickin' beat!"
- blaring
- sounding or causing to sound loudly and stridently. Ex: "Jay, you're Marshall is blaring!"
- popped
- drunk, intoxicated. Ex: "I'm kinda popped."
- flowing
- moving or proceeding easily. Ex: "That Foster's Lager was just flowing last night."
- good crunch
- to grind or crush noisily. Usually used in context of the quality of distorted guitar sound. Ex: "I thought we had good crunch tonight." or "That band was alright, but they didn't have good crunch."
- pumpin, sweatin, leapin, movin, crunchin
- the qualities that we like to see in a rock show. Ex:"Yeah, those guys can play, but were they pumpin, sweatin, leapin, movin and crunchin?"
- crushed
- adjective describing a great Pandemonium show. (alternate: see popped) Ex: "Man, we just crushed tonight."
- slayed
- see crushed
- blade
- a homosexual. Lifted from "Zorro, the Gay Blade."
- butter face
- a girl with a great body, not a great face. Ex: "She's a butter face. Everything was hot about her, but her face."
- Vance
- a band member who really screws up and makes the band stop the song and start over; or a band member with a very out of tune instrument. Refers to a guy some of the members knew back in high school. Ex: "C'mon Vance, tune that thing!"
- Welcome to the NFL
- a phrase used in reference to bands/musicians experiencing some hardship, or things don't go exactly as planned (rookie problems).
- left it all on the field
- see frickin' beat
- As cheap as the day is long
- 'nuff said
- bring the tree
- used when ordering the largest orange juice available. Usually ordered after a long night of partying.
- all put out
- disappointed, sad, bummed out.
- busy
- cluttered with detail to the point of being distracting. Ex: "Hey Jay, that solo was a little busy."
- puppa
- slang for poop. Not to be confused with NHL goaltender Dareen Puppa. Ex: "I took a puppa and went right to bed."
- turn on the turbines...whoosh!
- reference to a jet airplane starting up, also used to describe a good start to a Pandemonium show. Ex: "We just stepped out there, turned on the turbines and whoosh! They were just blown away!"
- disheveled
- disorderly, disarranged. Referenced in newspaper reports about comedian Chris Farley's last few days: "He obviously had been drinking, just a mess, disheveled."
- boofed
- ripped off, screwed, raped. Alternate: poked.
- s***mitts
- A guy who takes a puppa but doesn't wash his hands afterwards.
- sloth box
- A mail box in a town whose service is extremely slow (i.e. more than a week to mail a 20 cent postcard to someone within the same town!)
